Start with who you are.
Profile prompts and interests make room for personality beyond the first photo.
Make room for connection that feels like it fits. Meet people through what matters to you, start with a real conversation, and take things at your pace.
A product preview, not a public dating service yet.

AshtaSetu is being designed around the moments that actually matter: finding someone interesting, learning what makes them tick, and feeling comfortable enough to say hello.
These are screens from the AshtaSetu app in testing. Every person shown is a synthetic test profile, not a real member.

Discover • find people who fit your pace
Profile prompts and interests make room for personality beyond the first photo.
Show who you’d like to meet and explore people with compatible intentions.
Get to know a match through chat before deciding what comes next.

Discover puts people who share your interests and goals first, and says what you have in common. It never ranks anyone by popularity.

Say how you identify and who you’d like to meet. Two people only see each other when each fits the other’s choice, and your choice is never shown to anyone.

Download a copy of everything AshtaSetu keeps about you, from Settings. It holds your own messages, never anyone else’s.

Voice and video calls unlock only when both of you turn on “Open to a call” for that match. Calls are never recorded, and you can report or block without leaving the call.

If a match asks for money or gift cards, pushes you to another app or sends a link, you get a quiet warning and a Report button. Only you see it, and nothing is blocked for you.

Distance is optional. Your phone rounds its location to about 2 km before sending it, others only ever see a band like “5–10 km away”, and near places you mark private your distance is hidden.
Screens from the app on an Android phone in testing. The people shown are labelled test profiles. Calls were tested between that phone and a test browser, not yet between two phones.
Good connections need room to grow—and clear boundaries. AshtaSetu is building safety tools into the experience, not adding them as an afterthought.

Not yet. AshtaSetu is in development. The screens here come from the app in testing, with synthetic sample profiles; there is no public dating service or waitlist on this site.
No. Every profile shown on this website is a synthetic test profile. We do not use fake profiles or engagement in a live service.
No. Matching, messaging, blocking, reporting, and core safety controls are intended to remain free.
Inside a chat, each of you can turn on “Open to a call”. Only when both have can either of you start a voice or video call. The camera and microphone are asked for when a call starts, calls are never recorded, and blocking ends a call at once.
Only if you turn distance on. Your phone then sends an area about 2 km across, never your exact spot, and other people see only a band such as “10–25 km away”. You can mark private places, like home, where your distance is hidden; those are kept only on your phone.
Profile photos are checked by a person before anyone else sees them, and their location data is removed. Photos in a chat need the other person to allow photos from you, are checked the same way, and arrive blurred until they tap.
Yes, from Settings. Your account is removed after a 7-day grace period in case you change your mind, and you can download a copy of your data first. More about your data →
Not publicly yet. AshtaSetu now builds and completes its critical offline and connected-account flows in Apple’s iPhone Simulator, and native notification registration is wired. Physical-iPhone notification and call checks, Apple signing and TestFlight still remain; this is not an App Store availability claim.
AshtaSetu is on its way. Until then, take a closer look at the experience we’re creating.
