Block, any time
Blocking ends contact straight away: the chat closes, a call in progress ends, and neither of you appears to the other again. The other person is never told. Unblocking never reopens an old chat.
AshtaSetu is an 18+ dating app in development. Safety is built into how it works, not added on later. This page describes the app as it stands in testing; the service is not launched and safety review remains in progress.
Everyone agrees to these before they start. They are how we expect people to treat each other.
Breaking these can lead to a suspension. A suspended member can appeal, and a different moderator decides.

Every profile photo is checked by a person before anyone else sees it, and the location data hidden inside photos is removed.
Someone can send you a photo only if you allow photos from them. Each one is checked, arrives blurred, and shows only when you tap it.
If a match asks for money or gift cards, pushes you to another app or sends a link, you see a quiet warning with a Report button. Only you see it.
A voice or video call is possible only when both of you have turned on “Open to a call” for that match. Calls are never recorded, and Report and “End call and block” work from inside the call.
Distance is optional and shown only as a band such as “5–10 km away”. Your exact location never leaves your phone, and you can hide your distance near private places such as home.
Turn off “Show me on Discover” to stop appearing to new people. Your matches and chats stay, and it is free.
Blocking, reporting and every safety control are free. Safety is never a paid feature.
If you are ever in danger, contact your local emergency number first.
